Snow much fun!

What an extra special day yesterday was!

Like one of those days you want to bottle up and save forever and ever ~!

I love those days!

The boys and I performed a little science project yesterday and it was super cool.

I got the idea from Pinterest...of course!

We lined a cookie sheet with baking soda.

Then I used dyes to color vinegar.
We used medicine droppers to drop the vinegar onto the baking soda.

And WALA...super coolness!

Austin's eyes grew big as he saw the EXPLOSION of bubbles appear.

Troy was in amazement! He especially liked spilling the whole cup of vinegar onto the baking soda. Typical. :)

I

Try it and let me know how much your kiddos enjoyed themselves :)

We also played outside for hours in the afternoon.

And we created a really awesome snow fort with tunnels.

It took me back to the times I use to do that as a child.

A blast, I tell ya!

Austin has really been into the Wii since he got it for Christmas...

but there's nothing that beats playing outside in a snow fort.

Our winter had been so cold recently...

but not yesterday and we made the most of it!

I'm picking up A from school today

so we can enjoy more outside time since it'll be another beautiful day.

Praise the Lord!

Can't wait!

Enjoy your day!

Being so thankful!

Question for you...

Have you ever felt so much

 JOY

that it brings you to tears?

I have...

And I will tell you it is the VERY best feeling.

It gives me a humble, grateful, thankful, joy filled

HEART.

Happy to have an amazing husband!

A happy 5 year old son!

A curious 2 year old!

And a supportive, loving & fun family & friends!

God is so good, all the time, regardless of the hard times....

He is the very same God.

Christ is my everything, and without him I would be nothing.

And as I was looking through my Bible

I came across these beautiful verses from

Psalms 9:1&2

"O Lord, I will praise you with all my heart, and tell everyone about the marvelous things you do. I will be glad, yes, filled with joy because of you. I will sing your praises, O Lord God above all gods."

Have a super great day!

My boys!

My boys!

Let's start the weekend out right with a little humor,
brought to you by my sweet boys!

Every. single. day. I smile and laugh with them!

:)

A & T are so funny and sweet.

I am so grateful God blessed me with them.

1/29/14

Out of nowhere, while we were eating supper,

Austin says

"What if our family name was The Jolly Ranchers?"

Yes, Austin, What if? :)

Austin Jolly Rancher.
Sounds great! ;)

And Austin said this awhile ago but I will never forget it!

12/28/12
A: "Mom! I want to ask you something."
Me: "Yes, Austin."
A: If I met God, would he stomp on me?"
Me: "No, hunny. He would give you a big hug and pick you up." :)
A: "With his great big hands?"
Me: "Yes."

I thought that was so cute.

Troy boy is a happy boy when his clothes are OFF.

He came into the world wearing nothing and would love to stay that way.

But, he does need to wear at least a pull-up.

So, every time he starts saying "HULK!"

We all know what's going to happen....

 his shirt is coming off!

Or he'll rip his shirt off as fast as he possibly can

and proudly announce to everyone "HULK!!"

And then he'll make that tough guy face.

Oh, Troy boy, you're adorable!!

Happy weekend to you!

Enjoy every precious day!
Smile!
Laugh!
Enjoy life!

My Dad

This post is dedicated to my wonderful Dad!

I love him so much and all that he does for his family & friends.

I am extremely grateful for the Dad he is.

He is full of joy, strength and compassion.

And he is a lot of fun!

He rides Harley Davidson motorcycles and that's cool!
And he sure loves taking others on bike rides.

He loves his family and friends and enjoys spending time with them.

He loves his girls so much!

But most importantly, He is a grand example of Jesus Christ.
And that is what I love the most about him.

He and my lovely Mom have given me the best foundation built on faith. And I will forever be grateful. :)

This man would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

He is amazing!!!

Last Thursday, it was snowing pretty heavily and I had an appointment in the cities.
Immediately, I thought of my Dad. I called him up and asked if he'd be willing to drive with  me down to the cities. Without hesitation, he said YES! I was very grateful. So we drove together and had agreat time chatting in the car. And on the way home I got him Coldstone :) And as we were waiting in line,  I said "Picture!" Just so I could have a lil' photo to remind me of our special time together!

I love you, Dad!! Thank you for being you.
