Creamy apple dip

I have a really simple dip to tell you about. You will love it!

I  actually got the recipe from a work friend, Brittany. She brought it for a potluck last year and I devoured it! I asked her on the spot how to make it and she told me the ingredients so here we go...

You will need:
-Greek yogurt (I used plain)
-Creamy peanut butter
-Honey
-Green apples (I like it with green apples)

No measuring needed.
I just spooned about half and half of peanut butter and greek yogurt. I guess a little more yogurt. About 3/4 cup of each. I drizzled honey in the middle. Probably a couple tablespoons.

Mix it up really good. It ends up being a very creamy and velvet like consistency.

There you have it! Creamy apple dip. Green apple's best friend.

Troy boy loved it! I was so happy. The last time I made it he wouldn't try it.

Enjoy!!

And just for fun, here he was napping in my arms in the afternoon after a lot of outside playing time. Him napping in my arms doesn't happen very often and I truly treasure the times it does. I just love that cuddly and sweet 3 year old! He's always saying "Mommy, hold me." He is really attached to me...and I LOVE it! :)

Happy day to you!

It's July already!

June was great!

Cheers to a fun-filled J-U-L-Y!

:)

Last Wednesday night we (the kids and I) stayed overnight at the camper at the campground.

And the next day the hubby came since it was the 4th of July and he was off work.

It was a fun time! More than anything it's nice to be somewhere ALL together with family, hanging out without the busyness of your "normal" things to do at home.

....Dishes to wash, areas to dust, laundry to fold, floors to sweep and clean, things to do, t.v. to watch, etc...

There is always something to do at home.

So, to be camping or vacationing is nice to just forget about all that stuff that really isn't that important.

Here are some fun photos of what we were up to for July 4th.

Swimming. Austin is quite the jumper. He absolutely loves jumping in the water.

Snacking.

Troy wearing his sweet Mickey Mouse towel. It even sings! My sweet friend Crystal got it for Austin when he was 1 or 2 :) And we still have it and adore it!

Some of the men grillin some delish grub.

Austin with my wonderful parents & I.

Austin and his crazy cute face with his Nanny.

Troy caught on to making smores and being sure to blow the marshmallow out.

I'm reminded of the Bible story of Mary & Martha from Luke 10:38-42 NIV

38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Marthaopened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

As a Mom, there are 10  100 things on my mind at a time. That's how I feel sometimes. Are you with me on that? But, there comes a time when I need to stop worrying about so many things and chose the better thing to do.

Spend time with my family & friends.

Setting off lil fireworks.

Troy's "Wassup" face.

My men all together gazing at the fireworks.

Happy July to you!
