Friday Favorites #3

Friday Favorites is here and I couldn't be happier to share 4 of mine.

I'm linking up again with these fabulous ladies:
for Friday Favorites.

1.) This tablecloth. Is fab! It's from Walmart
Here's my dining room table with some beautiful roses :)!

It is bright and beautiful. I actually saw it at Walmart a couple times but talked myself out of purchasing it because I maybe didn't *need* it. But I'm so glad I finally talked myself into it. It really brightens up the table!

2.) This favorite is something simple yet very practical!
Kid's toothbrushes that stand up by themselves. Yay!

I love it!
It is sometimes hard for me to get all of the families toothbrushes to fit in the holder without their bristles touching. Because I just don't like that. So, these are perfecto! I found mine at our local Walmart but I can't find them online to link to. Sorry!

3.) This scent From Bath & Body Works reminds me of the beach. It is light in scent and smells super good! You will smell super summery!

Get it HERE. It's on sale by the way!

4.) Running while listening to praise and worship music is one of my very favorite things to do! While running, I talk & pray to God while running on the ground He created. And I'm able to gaze at the gorgeous sky, trees, ponds, world He has made. It's a wonderful experience.

What are some of your favorite things? I'd love to hear!

Have a lovely Friday!

I LOVE Chalkboards!

Chalkboards are my favorite form of decoration!

Really & Truly!

Earlier this year my friend and I went to Goodwill and I bought a bunch of frames! I wasn't exactly sure what my plan would be but I thought they looked like nice n' sturdy frames...at a decent price.

I saw BIG potential in this frame right here. I actually had it hanging in my bathroom for awhile until I had time to change it up. You know, to cover the blank wall :) (even though it's not my taste).

I used some blue tape to cover the outer frame. I bought some chalkboard spray paint and went to town spray painting! I did 2 coats.

I bought this kind from Walmart HERE. It works great!

Be careful, the spray paint really stains your hands. True story. :)

I also bought some blue-gray spray paint to do the frame. And then, I decided what to write on my new frame.

I also used the spray paint color to paint the other 2 frames I bought from the Goodwill. They were all gold and didn't really go with my vision for the bathroom. They are not *perfect* but I LOVE them! :)

Here are some of my other chalkboards I've made...

I love to look at them during the day as a reminder to myself. I also believe that my kiddos will be able to read them and memorize Bible verses from these frames some day.

This one was actually made with a chalkboard sticker over cardboard. Therefore, it is very difficult to write with chalk because the surface isn't as hard. But it still works :)!

I've been looking to purchase these chalkboard markers HERE. They look fun.

God Bless,

Jamie :)

Inspirational Monday #2

This past weekend was so great filled with family and friends!

We're so grateful and blessed.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend as well!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Target for some shopping. Troy boy was running down the halls, letting loose some of his energy :)! It was all fine until he tripped over the wheels of the cart and fell on the bottom of a clothing rack. There was a blunt edge that he fell face first onto. He was crying and I picked him up in a panic to see where he was  hurt. I noticed on his forehead a couple inches above his eyebrow was a puncture wound. It was probably 1 cm wide and 1 cm deep. I could see inside the little hole as it was bleeding. I was SO worried for him. There I was at Target, alone with the kiddos. I quickly put a baby wipe on the wound to stop the bleeding and found some band aids. To my relief it had stopped bleeding so I just tightly placed the band aids. Austin then said, "At least it wasn't his EYE!"

Absolutely, Austin! :)

In that moment, my eyes teared up. I told him that was so true and then I gave thanks to our marvelous God. It could have been so much worse. If he would've fallen a couple inches more forward, that puncture would've been on his eye.
And that would've been terrible.

We quickly checked out and I called the clinic in town to see if they had any same day appointments because I knew he'd need at least stitches. They didn't but the Nurse was going to see if they could maybe fit him in when we got there. On the way, Troy fell asleep. He was so exhausted. I was praying that he would be fine. When we arrived at the clinic, I had to wake him up but thankfully he was in good spirits. When we got there, the Nurse came to see Troy. She spoke with a Doctor and thankfully he was able to fit him in! Otherwise, we would've just went to the ED. He was so sweet to my little boy whom I was so concerned about. And Troy was a total trooper, he layed perfectly still while the Doctor fixed up his battle wound.

 I am completely grateful!
